Yesterday, there was torrential rain or torrential rain in Guangxi, Guangdong and other places.

The maximum hourly rainfall in the above-mentioned areas was 30,60mm, and 80,92mm in the northern part of Guangdong. Strong winds of magnitude 810 and 11 occurred in southern Hunan, eastern Zhejiang, central and southern Yunnan, northern Guangxi and northern Guangdong.

In addition, blowing sand or floating dust weather occurred in western Xinjiang, western Ningxia, northeast Gansu, central Shaanxi and other areas yesterday.

2. Key weather forecast

(1) there are strong precipitation and convection in Jiangnan, South China, Guizhou and other places.

In the next three days, there will be heavy to torrential rain in Jiangnan, South China and Guizhou, torrential rain in some areas, local torrential rain, accompanied by severe convective weather.

Heavy to torrential rain is expected from 08:00 to 08:00 on April 20 to 21 in southern Guizhou, southern Jiangnan, most of South China and central Chongqing. Among them, there will be torrential rain in southern Hunan, southern Jiangxi, southwestern Fujian, eastern Guangxi, north-central Guangdong and other areas, while severe rainstorm (250,280mm) will occur in northwestern Guangdong (see figure 1).

There will be 8-10 thunderstorm gale or hail weather in southern Hunan, south-central Jiangxi, southern Fujian, southwestern Guizhou, southeastern Yunnan, east-central Guangxi, northern Guangdong and central and western Guangdong. Among them, there will be more than 10 thunderstorm winds in eastern Guangxi and western Guangdong, and local winds can reach more than 11.

Some areas in southern Hunan, southern Jiangxi, western Fujian, southern Guizhou, eastern Yunnan, Guangxi, and central and western Guangdong will have short-term heavy precipitation with hourly rainfall greater than 20 mm. Among them, the maximum hourly rainfall in some areas such as eastern and northwest Guangxi and central and western Guangdong is more than 50 mm, and the local rainfall can reach more than 80 mm (see figure 2).

The Central Meteorological Observatory issued an orange warning for rainstorm at 06:00 on April 20, and continued to issue a yellow warning for severe convective weather.

(2) there are strong winds in the eastern sea area.

It is expected that from 08:00 to 08:00 on April 20, there will be strong winds of force 5 to 6 and gust 7 to 8 in eastern Xinjiang, western Gansu, northern Inner Mongolia and other areas.

There will be strong winds of force 7 to 8 and gust 9 in the southeast of the Yellow Sea and the northern part of the East China Sea (see figure 3)

From 08:00 to 08:00 on April 21, there were strong winds of force 5 to 6 and gust 7 to 8 in eastern Xinjiang, western Gansu, Inner Mongolia and other areas (see figure 4). The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a blue warning for gale at 06:00 on April 20.

Domestic specific forecast for the next three days

From 08:00 to 08:00 on April 20, there were heavy to torrential rain in southern Guizhou, southern Jiangnan, most of South China and central Chongqing. Among them, there was torrential rain in southern Hunan, southern Jiangxi, southwestern Fujian, eastern Guangxi, north-central Guangdong and other areas, while severe rainstorm (2500,280mm) occurred in northwestern Guangdong (see figure 5).

In eastern Xinjiang, western Gansu and northern Inner Mongolia, there will be strong winds of force 5 to 6 and gusts of 7 to 8, while in the southeast of the Yellow Sea and the northern part of the East China Sea, there will be gales of 7 to 8 and 9 gusts.

From 08:00 to 08:00 on April 21, moderate to heavy rain occurred in southern part of Jiangnan and most of South China. There were torrential rains or torrential rains (100,200mm) in southeastern Hunan, central-southern and eastern Jiangxi, southern Zhejiang, central and western Fujian, and central-eastern Guangdong (see figure 6).

In eastern Xinjiang, western Gansu, Inner Mongolia and other areas, there were strong winds of force 5 to 6 and gust 7 to 8.

From 08:00 to 08:00 on April 22, moderate to heavy rain occurred in parts of east-central South China, southeastern Inner Mongolia, western Liaoning and northeastern Hebei. There were torrential rains or torrential rains (100,120mm) in southeastern Fujian and eastern Guangdong (see figure 7).

In some areas, such as Hexi, Gansu and northern Shanxi, there is a wind of force 4 to 6.
